Staff

The director of our school is Ms. Janet Beaulieu. She holds a national directors credential from Nation-Louis University. She was an experienced director of preschool programs before joining our school. She has been a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children since 1994 and currently represents the Foothill area, as a state board director on the California affiliate for the organization.

The Assistant Director and Lead Preschool Teacher in the PreK class is Ms. Avelinda Stewart. Ms. Stewart has been teaching at SMCCPS for thirty years. She has her Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and is a much sought after mentor teacher to students at the various community colleges.

Ms. Phyllis Meacham leads our 3 yr. old class and Ms Vanessa Gallardo leads our 2 yr. old class.  Their assistants are also teacher qualified.

Our entire staff exceed the minimum requirements set by the state of California. Each one has CPR and first aid certification for adults, infants and children and are fingerprinted as required by law.

Our staff are also regular attendees at various workshops, conferences and seminars to keep current on all child development information.
